Sailing to Anacapa Island - Saturday, February 29th 2009
We had an amazing day sailing with our friends from Vintage Marina out to the Anacapa Islands. We sailed into a very large pod of dolphins and had the pleasure of being escorted by them for most of our day. We anchored at Frenchy's Cove and then went ashore to explore the island and do a little caving through a cave that came out on the other side of the island. We had to motor most of the way on our trip back, with little wind the seas were smooth as glass.
